Exercise and Support Groups

Diabetes Projects Trust exercise group runs at Otara every week. The group is for those who may have health issues or for whom conventional exercise groups/gyms are not suitable. We recommend that anyone wishing to participate in exercise sessions gets clearance and advice from their health professional and alerts the instructor to particular issues which may impact on their own or others safety. 


  • Otara Exercise - Every Monday (except holidays), 10:00 - 11:00am at Te Puke Otara - 1/100 Alexander Crescent, Otara.

Support Group for people with diabetes run monthly: 


  • Otara Diabetes Support Group - the 2nd Monday of every month, 11:00am-12:30pm at Te Puke Otara - 1/100 Alexander Crescent, Otara.
