offer training to help workers to:

. Know more about the types and management of diabetes
. Identify people at risk of type 2 diabetes
. Understand diabetes complications and related health issues
. Promote healthy lifestyles in at risk communities/families
. Explain the benefits of healthy eating and being physical active
. Safely and effectively intervene and support individuals and groups to make lifestyle change.
. Motivational Techniques for lifestyle change
. Tap into resources and support in the community

Included are:
. 6 hour interactive training course (may be split up on request and can be delivered onsite for groups)
. Course book and resources
. Certificate of attendance
. Post-training support
. Assistance with developing new programmes
